Tulips and daffodils have popped up everywhere. March Madness has just wrapped up. More than 2 million Hoosiers have had their first COVID-19 vaccinations. Masks came off in Indiana on April 6. The first quarter of 2021 is behind us.
There is much to be optimistic about right now.
It’s fair to say that the past 12 months have been rough on so many people. Devastating even. So while we are all wise to acknowledge and grieve the hard things, it’s important we take time to see and lean into the good that’s all around us, too.
In this spirit, we asked the DKP team to share things they are excited about this year, both personally and professionally. Our hope is that you’ll get to know us a little better and maybe even find yourself inspired, too.
The DKP Team: What We’re Excited About
Tom: Working in new areas of healthcare and getting back to some sense of normalcy.
Jennifer: Traveling internationally again and helping to drive new DKP business by pairing the right clients with the right services.
Emma: Honing the skills and knowledge I developed last year and watching the Medicaid landscape grow and change as a result of the pandemic.
Samantha: Watching my kids try new things, continuing on my fitness journey, and taking on more research data responsibilities at work.
Aaron: Taking on my new role as Manager of Business Intelligence Informatics at DKP and getting back on the golf course.
Marysia: Working on new products being launched this year and witnessing how advances in medicine are changing the course of this pandemic.
Denise: Taking what we’ve learned through all of the difficult pandemic implications and creating unique ways to support our clients.
Terri: Seeing DKP’s new marketing efforts roll out and also celebrating my son who is graduating from a prestigious school.
Dana: The possibility of live meetings again and growing immunity to COVID-19 so I can go on vacation!
James: Completing my doctorate and serving the most vulnerable in our communities, as well as adding value to my DKP client and team responsibilities.
Nick: Growing the market research capability here at DKP and also getting my family settled in Zionsville.
Lana: Being the best DKP employee I can be, reaching out of my comfort zone, and also keeping my 2021 resolutions around being more active.
Amara: Spending more time with family and diving into exciting research projects at work.
Jaclyn: Seeing how the next chapter in my kids’ lives is taking shape and also enjoying my growing role at DKP.
Annemarie: Watching all the ways DKP will grow and change this year and spending more time with extended family again.
Kristin: Biking over 300 miles this year and using new tech at work to make our deliverables more meaningful and accessible for clients.
Janet: Immersing new team members in the DKP culture and also being back in person with all the people I care about.
Chris: Continuing ed into PowerQuery and Power BI tools to enhance our data insights for clients, as well as seeing my extended family again.
Reid: Celebrating a new baby at home and growing in my role at DKP, specifically around reimbursement.
Holly: Helping my team and clients achieve their patient-centered goals and also refocusing on my wellness practice and yoga.
As for me, I’m ecstatic to think about going to concerts and live events with friends and family again. As someone who draws her energy from being around other people, this can’t happen soon enough! And on the work side, I’m also really anticipating all of the great work DKP gets to continue to do this year, helping to bring new technologies to a market that helps patients.
What about you? We’d love to hear what you’re looking forward to this quarter. Hop on over to our DKP LinkedIn page and post a comment there or send us a message. Wishing you and yours a happy Spring!
