ZIONSVILLE, IND. – DK Pierce & Associates (DK Pierce), a certified women’s business enterprise focusing on consulting services for biopharmaceutical companies, is excited to announce its intent to expand its 15-year-old operations in Zionsville, creating up to 23 new jobs and investing $3.9 million. DK Pierce anticipates being the first tenant of Creekside Corporate Park in Zionsville, contingent upon due diligence and approval of local incentives.
Named one of the top 20 Indiana Companies to Watch in 2015, DK Pierce helps clients bring products for cancer and rare diseases to market and works to ensure that third-party health insurance companies will support patient access to meaningful treatments. “Every day we hear about the complexity of healthcare and challenges that individuals deal with gaining access to treatments for catastrophic diseases,” said Denise Pierce, President/CEO of DK Pierce. “With an unprecedented number of new treatments in development for these diseases, the demand for our services continues to increase at a fast pace. We are appreciative that the State of Indiana and the Town of Zionsville have acknowledged our business model and our dedication to keeping and growing a highly talented workforce in Indiana.”
The Indiana Economic Development Corporation has offered DK Pierce up to $275,000 in conditional tax credits and up to $50,000 in training grants based on the company’s job creation plans. These incentives are performance-based, meaning the company will claim incentives as more Indiana-based employees are hired. The Town of Zionsville supports the project at the request of the Boone County Economic Development Corporation.
“As the health care field continues to grow and change, I’m proud that Zionsville companies like DK Pierce are leading the way,” said Jeff Papa, Mayor of Zionsville. “DK Pierce has had a long standing presence in Zionsville and we are proud that they chose to grow their business right here in one of Indiana’s most recognized communities.”
“DK Pierce is a great example of the high quality companies based in Boone County,” said Molly Whitehead, Executive Director of the Boone County Economic Development Corporation (“Boone EDC”). “We’re glad they chose to expand right where they already call home and look forward to seeing other companies follow in their footsteps.”
DK Pierce plans to begin their hiring and expansion process in 2016. Interested applicants with backgrounds in health policy, nursing, pharmacy, informatics, and other related areas can learn more about DK Pierce’s positions at http://dkpierce.net/jobs
