For the fourth year in a row, DK Pierce & Associates, Inc. (DK Pierce) was named as one of the Best Places to Work in Indiana. This annual program was created by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce and Best Companies Group and was designed to identify, recognize, and honor the participating employers in Indiana with the leading workplace cultures. The 2020 list is made up of 125 companies from across Indiana.
DK Pierce is a company focused on its passion: ensuring patient access to treatments for cancer and rare diseases. The company, a certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE), works with biopharmaceutical companies as they develop and bring to market products and treatments for oncology and other rare diseases. “We are thrilled to be part of the Best Places to Work in Indiana for a fourth year!” says Denise Pierce, President and CEO of DK Pierce. “It is especially meaningful for us as we also celebrate our 20th anniversary as a company. The Best Places to Work in Indiana award is testimony to the commitment we have to building a positive work environment.”
Companies from across the state entered the two-part survey process to determine alignment with criteria for consideration in the Best Places to Work in Indiana program. Part 1 consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics – this accounted for 25% of the evaluation. Part 2 consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience, which was worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final rankings.
Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process in Indiana, analyzed the data, and determined the final rankings, which will be announced at an awards dinner on April 30, 2020, at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis and published in the May-June issue of the Indiana Chamber’s BizVoice® magazine.
